Our Story
Built By People Who Actually Grill
We test every grill in our own backyards before it ever reaches yours — no showroom models, just real cooks.
It Started With a Cracked Dome
Electro Oulet started with a cracked dome. Our founder had saved for a year to buy a "premium" kamado from a national home-improvement chain, and it split down the side the first hard freeze it sat through. The warranty claim took four months, three phone trees, and a form that had to be mailed. That grill had cost more than a used car, and nobody could tell us why it failed or when it would be fixed.
We started buying grills the way we wished someone had sold them to us: sourced from the same kilns and steel mills that supply the name brands, torque-checked and gas-leak tested by hand before they ship, and sold direct so there's no showroom overhead baked into the price. Every warranty claim goes to someone who has actually run a sixteen-hour brisket, not a call center reading from a script.
We still test-cook every new model ourselves before it goes on the site, hot dogs and all. If it can't hold 225°F through an overnight cook in our own backyards, it doesn't get a listing.
